Newcastle United starlet Ayoze Perez has confirmed he is the subject of interest from Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham, but insists his 'place is at Newcastle'.

Speaking to Radio Club Tenerife, Perez described the interest from the Red Devils and Spurs as 'rewarding'.

"There is truth in the talk about interest in me. It's rewarding for me," Perez said.

"There is much truth in the interest from Tottenham and Man United, but my place is at Newcastle."

Perez has scored four goals in 17 appearances for the Magpies this campaign.
