Newcastle United are eyeing Benfica midfielder Filip Djuricic.

O Jogo says Djuricic is set to leave the Portuguese side this summer after spending last season on loan at Mainz and Southampton.

Among the chasing pack with Newcastle are AC Milan, Swansea City, Watford and Bournemouth – the Premier League a much more likely destination for the out-of-sorts midfielder.

The Serb played for SC Heerenveen during Toon boss Steve McClaren's time in Holland with FC Twente.
