Ajax midfielder Vurnon Anita admits he's keen on a move to England.

The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his deal in Amsterdam but will seek talks with the club's new sporting director Marc Overmars to gain clarity over his future as Newcastle United and Sunderland make contact.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "I've two years left on my contract. But I want some clarity from Ajax about my future.

"We have a meeting with Marc Overmars, the club's new sporting director, to get a clear view of what the club wants."
