Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger hopes to see action in the Carling Cup tonight at Chelsea.
Ranger, who was deployed as a right-winger against Accrington, is still hopeful of a taste of the action at some stage.
The Londoner told the Evening Chronicle: "Everyone wants to be involved. All the youngsters have been doing all right, and we're ready if needed.
"We know it's Chelsea, so Chris (Hughton) won't change the whole team, but hopefully a few youngsters will get to play."
