Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins has completed a £9 million move to Wolfsburg.
Martins, 24, sealed a £9m move to German champs Wolfsburg last night, once a wrangle over his £80,000-a-week wages was sorted.
The Nigerian striker's exit after three years at St James' Park eases the Toon's wage bill by £4m a year.
He is expected to be the first of several major summer departures as the Geordies bid to balance the books after crashing into the Championship.
Martins, who signed a four-year contract, said: "If the club decide to sell, I've no choice but to go."
