Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has set himself a 20-goal target for next season.
Cisse has fired his side to the brink of Champions League qualification with 11 goals in nine starts since his £9million move from Freiburg.
He said: “There were other English clubs interested in signing me but Newcastle offered a unique opportunity. In all senses, I knew it was the right club for me.
“Next season my aim will be to score at least 20 goals.
“I knew Newcastle was a great club before I arrived but now I want to help the club achieve the history it deserves.
“After the experience this season, from now on this club should always be fighting for the top positions in the league.”
