Newcastle United striker Demba Ba is pricing himself out of a move away in January.

The Evening Chronicle says Ba's representatives have quoted some of the interested clubs a wage packet of around £90,000 per week should they wish to trigger his Newcastle United exit.

And the expense wouldn't end there, with a £7.5m release clause plus agent fees.

The package would also command a substantial signing-on fee that could take the deal well beyond £10million overall.

It is believed this has put off Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
