Adam Armstrong is proud to have made his Premier League debut in Newcastle United's defeat to Fulham.
The 17-year-old became United's second youngest Premier League debutant after Kazenga Lualua to make his top-flight bow.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "It was a disappointing result.
"Obviously the lads done really well but couldn't get through at the end. I am absolutely buzzing to get on and make my Premier League debut."
Now Armstrong, a lifelong United supporter who hails from Chapel House estate, will be hoping to add to his appearance tally.
He said: "This is what it's all about. As a young kid this is what you want to do.
"For me to get here and come on is just amazing.
"I can't believe it - I'm buzzing."
