Shola Ameobi admits Newcastle is a great place to be at the moment.

With the city buzzing as Newcastle United moved into Champions League contention after the win over Bolton, Ameobi said the atmosphere in Toon mirrored that of the dressing room.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "We're excited.

"The last five games are a different proposition. The sky's the limit for us - there's no pressure at all.

"I think you can see that when we go out on the pitch."
