Newcastle United haven't given up on Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle have held further talks over the possibility of signing Gomis.
The free agent striker who has left Lyon is holding out for big wages of around £100,000 a week and that will limit his options in this country.
QPR and Swansea City are also interested in Gomis.
