Celtic wing wizard Aiden McGeady remains a top target for crisis club Newcastle United.

The People says McGeady is set for an £11million move to Newcastle ... if Kevin Keegan returns as boss.

Keegan is a long time admirer of Celtic's Scottish-born Republic of Ireland winger.

And it is believed he thought he was on the brink of landing McGeady just before the August transfer window slammed shut, and was furious when it was claimed owner Mike Ashley pulled the plug on the deal.

Three days later Keegan quit as the Newcastle gaffer, but if the Nigerian bid to buy the club from Ashley goes through he will return.

And one of the first things he will do is start the ball rolling again to try and tempt Celtic to part with 22-year-old McGeady.
