England U19 striker Ryan Donaldson admits it's a dream come true to be working with Newcastle United reserves coach Peter Beardsley.
Toon icon Beardsley was appointed as second-string coach earlier this summer, along with ex-Nottingham Forest and England star Steve Stone.
Donaldson - a lifelong Toon fan - told the Evening Chronicle: "Of course it's great working with Peter Beardsley.
"He is a legend at this club. For me it has been brilliant - he's an idol of mine and to be able to work with him everyday is great.
"It's a perfect situation for the players and we can only learn from him."
