Newcastle United skipper Fabricio Coloccini says he won't be applying for the manager's job.
The Argentina international was linked with the job in the aftermath of Alan Pardew's departure from St James' Park but he ruled himself out of the position after the 3-3 draw with Burnley.
When asked if he was shocked to be linked with the post he told the Evening Chronicle: "Yes of course but it's the second time it has happened.
"I am a football player now and want to play for a few years more. I want to enjoy being on the pitch.
"It's not for now."
