Newcastle United are showing considerable interest in Montpellier's Remy Cabella according to The Telegraph.
The 23-year old, who can operate on either wing, has emerged as a serious target for the Magpies who are believed to be pondering a £14million winter bid.
Alan Pardew is keen on Cabella and is hoping to lure him to St James' Park to strengthen his attacking options and provide competition for Hatem Ben Arfa who has been used mainly as a substitute this season.
Cabella, who has represented France at U21 level, has also attracted interest from Manchester United.
