Newcastle United are believed to be interested in Blackpool loan signing Jason Puncheon.
The Southampton star has done well in his first few matches in the Premier League, scoring twice in the two games he has started for the Seasiders.
His form is likely to attract attention from rival clubs and Magpies boss Alan Pardew admits he is a player of interest.
"Jason was somebody I scooped from MK Dons for a really good price. He's done extremely well and he's a player I'll keep an eye on," Pardew told The Evening Chronicle.
"Jason's at Blackpool at the moment, and whether there's an opportunity to come here will be determined by what he does at Blackpool."
