Newcastle set to welcome back Taylor
Steven Taylor is set to return to Newcastle United’s starting line-up for this weekend’s clash with Peterborough United at St James’ Park.
The 23-year old defender has been sidelined for the past four matches because of a hamstring injury but will return to bolster the Magpies’ defence as they attempt to push clear on top of the Championship table.
"Steven could have probably, at a push, played against Sheffield United (on Monday),” Newcastle boss Chris Hughton told the club’s official website.
“We chose not to risk him and that decision paid off. But he will be fine for the weekend and we look forward to welcoming him back."
