Newcastle United have announced the signing of Romain Amalfitano from French club Reims.
The 22-year old attacking midfielder will join the Magpies on a free transfer on July 1 and admits he is thrilled to be joining the Northeast club.
"I have seen a bit of the city already and it is a change from France but one I am really looking forward to.
