Newcastle Jets will welcome back Italian playmaker Fabio Vignaroli for the important Asian Champions League against Ulsan Hyundai on Wednesday.
The Jets just need a point to qualify for the next phase of the competition but face the Korean club away which will be a huge test.
The good news is that although somewhat underdone, Vignaroli is an enormous chance to play a role in the match according to coach Gary van Egmond.
"We'll step it up again tomorrow, and then we've got one more session on Tuesday before we play on Wednesday," van Egmond said last night.
"It's going to be a gamble either way with Fabio.
"At least we can react to him coming off, if it was to happen, earlier rather than later.
"There would be nothing worse than sending him out for the last 30 minutes, and 10 minutes later we have to make another substitution.
"We know that he's not going to last the full game, so we'll see what we get out of him from the onset."
