Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor will reportedly turned down a move to QPR.
The 26-year old centre-back has emerged as a target for the R's but will turn down their expected overtures to remain at St James' Park.
The Daily Mail reports that QPR were looking to make a move for Taylor after they were alerted to Newcastle's interest in striker Loic Remy, with the West London club hoping that a trade deal could be an option.
