Newcastle United defender Davide Santo has been selected for the Italy squad for this week's friendly with Holland.
The Azzurri take on the Oranje in Amsterdam on Wednesday which gives Magpies left-back Santon the chance to make his first senior international appearance in almost two years.
Santon's brilliant recent form at club level has not gone unrecognised and he will join recently-departed Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli who joined AC Milan last week.
Also in Cesare Prandelli's squad are usual suspects Gianluigi Buffon, Daniele De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo as well as Milan star Stephan El Shaarawy.
