Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says that Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia is unlikely to join the club.
The Frenchman has been linked with a return to St James' Park as it appears likely he will quit Wigan this summer but it now seems he could be on his way elsewhere.
Liverpool's forthcoming capture of Stewart Downing has opened the door for N'Zogbia to join Aston Villa and from Pardew's comments, it looks as though that may be the case.
"I am told that Charles has got an imminent move, so I don't think that will be us," he said.
