Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was thrilled his side managed to get a point from tonight's trip to QPR.
The Magpies defended resolutely against a new-look R's outfit at Loftus Road to maintain their unbeaten beginning to the season which put them fourth and Pardew was happy with the result.
"The result was good because it's a difficult place to come," he told Sky Sports 1.
"They were the better team, we didn't play as well as we'd have liked, so for us we got a point and another clean sheet and we've got to be pleased with that.
"That's three clean sheets now (this season) and that takes some doing in the Premier League. But there are always improvements to make and certainly as an attacking side there can be improvements."
