Newcastle's Enrique flattered by interest from rivals

Newcastle United left-back Jose Enrique says he is flattered that clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

The 25-year old Spaniard has been impressive in the top flight this season - his fourth with the Magpies - prompting rivals to show interest in his services.

Enrique says he is humbled to be linked with the aforementioned clubs and has certainly not canceled out the possibility of departing St James' Park even if he is 'OK for now'.

"It is flattering that Liverpool are interested. I've also heard that Manchester United and Aston Villa have asked about me," he said.

"They are both big teams and I'm not closing the door on anyone. I'm ambitious and want to play in the Champions League. I want to win things. I'm OK at Newcastle but I aspire to more."
