Newcastle United defender Jose Enrique is committed to fighting for the Magpies survival cause.

The 23-year old has said he is angry at the position of the club and wants to ensure that they are playing top flight football next season.

"I want to stay here and fight for this club," he told the Evening Chronicle.

"I have been angry this season because of the position we are in.

"It has been difficult for everybody.

"But we all want to move this club up The Premier League."
