England have confirmed that Jack Colback has been forced to leave the camp due to injury.
The Newcastle United midfielder, who was a surprise selection in Roy Hodgson's squad for Monday's Euro2016 qualifier against Switzerland, won't make the trip to Basel because of a hip injury.
Colback played no part in England's 1-0 friendly win over Norway at Wembley on Wednesday night and will now head back to the north east so he can be ready for the Magpies' next Premier League fixture against Southampton at St Mary's Stadium on September 13.
Jack Colback has returned to his club for treatment on an injury sustained last weekend with @NUFC. He'll miss the trip to Switzerland.
