Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa says it is vital for the players to not worry about the altercation with Arsenal captain Robin van Persie and get on with the job at hand.
Magpies goalkeeper Tim Krul and the Gunners star exchanged words at various stages of last night's 2-1 win to the home side at the Emirates Stadium but Ben Arfa, who netted the opening goal, suggests it is now more important to focus on the remaining league matches after some players had their feathers ruffled by the Dutchman.
"That's all finished, we now just have to keep our heads up high.
"We are very disappointed to lose. We could have taken one or three points at Arsenal. After going 1-0 up we condeded far too quickly, and we made it difficult for ourselves.
"There are 10 games left and we have to do the maximum to finish in a European place.""Van Persie is not our problem. We can't waste energy on him, it must all go on those last 10 games and we must concentrate on getting as many points from the 30 as we can," he said.
