Newcastle United have ruled out bringing Nottingham Forest pair Jamaal Lascelles and Karl Darlow to the club in January.
Both players are Newcastle players, but currently spending the season on-loan at the City Ground.
The board said through a statement at the club's Fans Forum this week:: "The club are delighted to have secured both Jamaal and Karl Darlow.
"While they will be big assets to the squad in future, it was not true that they could be recalled from their current loan deals until the end of the season."
