Newcastle United are competing with Tottenham for Almeria goalkeeper Julian Cuesta.

Spurs were linked with Cuesta last week.

And Estadio Deportivo says Newcastle are also in contact with Almeria for the young shot-stopper.

Cuesta, 24, is no first-choice at Almeria and it's suggested both Spurs and Newcastle see him as squad cover for next season.
