Newcastle United remain keen on Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia.
Despite their negotiations for PSG stopper David Rozehnal and Bolton's free agent Tal Ben Haim, the Evening Chronicle says there is still scope for Hyypia to bring all his experience to St James' Park.
