Newcastle United have pulled back from talks for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.
The Express & Star says Newcastle have reportedly been put off from a bid for Rondon, thanks to the associated add-ons regarding a move.
It's thought that the striker is on Rafa Benitez's shopping list this summer, but despite being willing to meet the Venezuelan's £16.5m release clause, reports suggest the club aren't willing to splash the cash on an agent fee and signing on fee.
Rondon has been linked away from The Hawthorns since the club's relegation was confirmed, with a number of big teams reportedly interested in him.
