Newcastle United are lining up a move for Chievo Verona defender Marco Andreolli.

The former Inter Milan centre-half is being lined up by Toon boss Alan Pardew as a replacement for the injured Steven Taylor.

Following the success of Davide Santon, Pardew has no qualms going Italian again to boost his defence.
