Newcastle United have priced Fabricio Coloccini out of a move to Espanyol.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle want £6m for Coloccini, who they paid £10m for last summer.

The high price and his astronomical wages make the move to Espanyol 'almost and impossible dream', says their sporting director. Newcastle have already scared off Lazio and Panathinaikos and may have to cut their demands further.
