According to reports from France, Newcastle are poised to make a bid for Marseille forward Loic Remy. The Magpies have longed been linked to the player who they see as a replacement for Demba Ba, who moved to Chelsea at the end of last week.
French publication La Provence claims Newcastle could launch a £9m bid in the next 24 hours.
