Newcastle United are eyeing Manchester United defender Ezequiel Fryers.

Fryers is yet to agree new terms at United, with his current deal expiring in June.

The Sunday Mirror says Newcastle are ready to offer Fryers a deal after his contract talks at Old Trafford broke down.

Left-back Fryers, 19, has made six first-team appearances this term and been with United since he was nine, but is frustrated over contract negotiations.
