Newcastle United defender Sabastien Bassong looks likely to join Tottenham according to recent reports.

The 22-year old was the Magpies player of the year last term but with the club going down to the Champinship, it seems as though the Frenchman will find himself at a Premier League club.

Tottenham are believed to be willing to pay the £15 million fee for Bassong's services who has also been linked with Arsenal and Sunderland.
