Newcastle United are eyeing Swansea CityBafetimbi Gomis.
Gomis only moved to Swansea in the summer from Olympique Lyon, but has struggled to compete with Wilfried Bony for a place in manager Garry Monk's first team.
The Sun says Newcastle are keen to tempt Gomis north in January as manager Alan Pardew seeks a new centre-forward signing.
Gomis' contract with Swansea runs to 2018, but it's understood it also carries a buyout clause.
However, Newcastle may still struggle to convince Gomis to make the move with Papiss Cisse and Emmanuel Riviere well established as Pardew's first-choice strikers.
