Olympique Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is interesting Newcastle United.
The Evening Chronicle says sources in France have suggested the Magpies have an interest in the 22-year-old after joining a host of top European clubs, plus Merseyside neighbors Liverpool and Everton, in running the rule over the twice-capped French international centre-forward.
Lacazette has bagged 20 goals and eight assists for Lyon this season.
He remains under contract for two more years with the Ligue 1 club, but is valued at around the £9m mark by Lyon.
