Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren is determined to find another striker for the January market.
Defeat at West Ham United has left Newcastle at the wrong end of the table and McClaren aims to return to London to boost his attack.
The Sun says McClaren is teeing up a £12million swoop for Diafra Sakho from West Ham.
Sakho was a revelation for West Ham last season and the Londoners will be reluctant to lose the Frenchman.
Along with Sakho, QPR striker Charlie Austin also remains a target for McClaren.
