Newcastle pair Carroll, Baheng continue to impress

After victory over Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United reserves coach Adam Sadler singled out strike-pair Andy Carroll and Wesley Ngo Baheng for praise.

Sadler told the Evening Chronicle: "It was a fantastic performance and the lads have shown great character to come back from behind.

"Wesley has shown what he can do with a great performance to score his second in as many games, which is great for him.

"Big Andy has again put in a good shift and gained his reward from a fantastic Doninger corner.

"Jonny Godsmark rounded it off with a good goal as well, so I am very happy.

"What pleased me most about the game was the lads' spirit and their attitude after they went a goal down."
