Newcastle United's clash with Norwich City will come too soon for Yohan Cabaye.

The Daily Star says Cabaye is losing his race to be fit for Newcastle's trip to Norwich on Saturday.

In another blow to beleaguered Toon chief Alan Pardew, defender Steven Taylor also looks like missing out.

Captain Fabricio Coloccini, striker Papiss Cisse and Jonas Gutierrez, who all sat out the FA Cup defeat at Brighton, will be back at Carrow Road.
