Newcastle Jets owner Con Constantine is still seeking compensation for losing coach Gary van Egmond to the Australian Institute of Sport.
van Egmond took a position with the AIS just five months into his four-year contract with the Jets and Constantine believes he deserves some sort of payback.
"Football Federation Australia and the Institute of Sport have made a big mistake in taking my coach and they know that in the business world if you make a mistake you pay," Constantine said.
"So I want compensation from the FFA, the AIS and van Egmond because they gave him the job and because neither party had the courtesy to tell the club they were talking (about a new job).
"I'm not trying to damage the game but I want justice to be done and to be seen to be done. You can't mess around with contracts."
