Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is standing by manager Alan Pardew.
The London Evening Standard says the controversial Newcastle owner has decided not to sack Pardew, despite last night's 1-0 defeat at Stoke City.
Sources close to Ashley said: "There are no crisis talks and none planned. Alan Pardew's job is not under threat.
"People can hype it up all they want and claim he has this game and that to save his job. But they don't know Ashley and they wouldn't have a clue what he is thinking."
