Newcastle United outcast Jonas Gutierrez has been offered the chance to train with an unnamed club.
The Evening Chronicle says Gutierrez has the offer to train with an unnamed side in pre-season after being told his Newcastle United career is as good as over.
But it is believed that Gutierrez is close to triggering a contract extension of one year to his current deal and Newcastle don't want him to extend his stay.
Writing the clause out of his contract is an option for Newcastle which would leave him with just a year left on his Magpies deal.
