Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce wants to sign Bolton Wanderers defender Tal Ben Haim outright in January for a knockdown £1 million.
Allardyce missed out on defender Ben-Haim to Chelsea last summer, despite bringing him to England when Big Sam was boss of Bolton Wanderers.
However, Haim has not settled and is ready to quit Stamford Bridge, says the People.
