Newcastle United are pondering a shock move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba.
The Magpies are looking to bring Ba back to St James' Park on a season-long loan just seven months after selling him to the Blues for £7million.
The Senegal international has failed to hold down a regular spot in Chelsea's line-up and appears to be down the order in Jose Mourinho's plans for this campaign.
It is believed that Newcastle and Chelsea are in talks regarding Ba who netted 29 goals in 54 appearances in 18 months in the Northeast.
