Newcastle United remain interested in PSG striker Mevlut Erdinc.
Magpies manager Alan Pardew does not believe that any incoming transfers will be concluded until their pre-season trip to the United States ends on July 27.
With PSG currently in England preparing to play in the Emirates Cup at Arsenal, while Newcastle are in the United States, The Journal understands this has slowed down transfer dialogue between the clubs.
Turkish international Erdinç, 24, would represent a major signing for Newcastle and at £7.5million would help fill the void left by the £35million departure of Andy Carroll, who left for Liverpool in January.
