Newcastle not about to change work ethic says goal hero Ba

Newcastle United will not change the way they go about things following their unbeaten start to the season says in-form striker Demba Ba.

The Magpies have made their best beginning to a season in 15 years with six wins and four draws to sit third on the table and Ba has made it clear that the players are determined to maintain consistency with their brilliant work ethic.

"We won't change the ethics of the team," the striker told the Evening Chronicle. "It's about hard work and getting results.

"Giving everything for our fans will drive us on. We are already looking forward to Everton now and this is a game we feel we can win, especially at home."

Ba admits it will be a tough task staying amongst the Premier League's elite but indicates a week-by-week proposition will help them through.

"It's going to be tough. The fans have stuck with us all the way through," he added.

"If we can keep up there then they are happy and we're happy.

"The team can give more. Everybody is just focused on beating Everton in the next game."
