Newcastle United are being forced to wait for Bordeaux midfielder Henri Saivet.
The Mirror says Toon boss Steve McClaren is sweating on a £3million deal for Saivet.
The Newcastle boss was confident of tying up the transfer, but Saivet is believed to have asked for more time to think it over because the Magpies are in relegation trouble.
