Newcastle United are eyeing Valencia winger Joaquin.

The Spain international is being put up for sale by Valencia, says AS, and Newcastle are expected to be amongst suitors for the tricky midfielder.

Toon have failed in their push for Atletico Madrid attacker Jose Antonio Reyes, but will have better luck with Joaquin, who has expressed frustration with developments at Valencia this season.
