Newcastle United are moving to trump Wolves for Manchester City wing-back Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Daily Star says City and the Midlands club have a greed a £16million deal for the Ukrainian to switch to Molineux.

But Newcastle are also interested in the midfielder - who operated at left-back at times for City last season - and could come in with a bid of their own.

Zinchenko is prepared to leave City in search for regular first team football.
